Pushing the boundaries
stretching belief again
peripheral drought
and dermal dis ease.
Bursting the zip straight
jacketed liberties
flesh to inflate
my sloth all sluffed off.
Shiny and sharp again
larger than life
expanded horizons
scaled, clothèd and right.

Bites the fish that feels the hand
That waves or drowns accordingly.
The epic Luth of seven realms whose
Seven strings ring low and deep,
Unmeasured feets in flippered depth
Dives down to catch and eat youse.
Mock the turtle not nor ever
Cry into your bone shy soup
This calf of oceanic udders
Holds the earth on a silver platter.
Mighty Luth, our own sand mother,
Leathered layers of a thousand worlds
Swimming down the dry sand’s reach
I am your child my significant other.

At the battle of Camlan danced father and son;
knotted histories and there to splice
each to the other through blood.
Arthur and Mordred, spoke “Faul” together
and writhed, spoke the words to ward
the charm to disenchant.
A Naeddre, one nadder or anudder,
who is the viper here now?
In congress clenched to spit a stone
and pierce it through the heart.
The boy poisoned by teeth curvaceous
punctured the man, pride bladdered
by an adder, there’s no cord,
no umbilicus man to man and
placentile placations buried
beneath a thorn tree, all curves and points.
The death of Arthur Pendragon,
more deadder than Mordred;
flying like a snake, a sloughed coat,
naked and scaled,
a small rivulet of red between heather roots.
